It *is* a netbook, not a laptop. For real work and portability, it's probably a good idea to invest in an ultraportable notebook, something like the Toshiba Libretto series. Though in that series I have have a very hard time looking at such a small screen. And, of course, any time you have real computing power, you have a much more limited battery life due to energy consumption. Takes energy to power brains! This netbook sounds like it is one of the most "laptop-like" of the netbooks.
